Thanksgiving and Thrifting

I hope you all had a great thanksgiving full of family and food!  I know I did!  We even had a fort :)

Cardboard is so much fun.

And thanksgiving would not be complete with our family without a game of Monopoly!

And even though I don't like it I tried to make pumpkin pie!

I was told it turned out very good.  It was a very simple recipe and even healthier than regular pumpkin pie.  The recipe is found here at Hungry Girl

Trey and I were also able to go thrifting this past weekend and finally found a coffee table!

It definitely will be getting repainted in the near future.  I just loved the detail on the side!  I'll post a picture after we get it painted although it might be quite a bit.  I still have some christmas projects I'm working on along with making more items for my etsy shop.  

Anyways, I am off to make some stockings!

First Posting and New Dress!

Okay, so we will see how this goes...  I'm not sure how well or consistent I will be with this blog but I am hoping to have to to update what is going on with Strawberry Freckles...  Special promos sneak peeks and all that jazz!

This past weekend I was able to do a photo shoot with my husband's cousins (cousin in laws?) whom I adore!  :)

They are so much fun to be around and really get a kick out of the whole being a model thing!

This dress I have been working on for a while but with moving it has been put on the back burner until recently and let me just say it is one of my favorites I've ever made!  It's a good thing I didn't make it in my size because it would most likely not be for sale!

I just love the full skirt mixed with the racer-back!

Just the perfect dress for dancing!
